We are thrilled to introduce the Basic Course on Women and Work, the first phase of our three-tiered journey!
This self-paced course is designed to introduce participants to foundational concepts and frameworks around gender and work. It prepares you for deeper exploration in our advanced courses, offering nuanced insights into the intersections of labor, identity, and social justice.
Building on the success of our previous two iterations, this course hopes to be a forum of dialogue and learning for activists, scholars, and practitioners navigating the complexities of women’s work. Whether you’re new to the field or looking to deepen your understanding, this course offers a space for reflection and learning.
What You'll Learn:
-Basic concepts of gender and work
-Herstory of work and labour
-Intersectionality in labor
-Structures and systems in and around work.
This is just the beginning!
The Basic Course paves the way for our advanced facilitated course and in-person residential sessions, where we dive deeper into advocacy, organizing, and policy-making.
