DESCRIPTION:Despite the long tradition of participatory approaches to 
 evaluation, there remains confusion and doubt about what it means and 
 how to do it effectively. Is it the same as voice and beneficiary feed
 back?  What levels of participation are desirable and possible in diff
 erent situations? What processes and decisions might be undertaken in 
 a participatory way?  For the past month on the BetterEvaluation site,
  guest bloggers Irene Guijt and Leslie Groves have been exploring issu
