Event Description

WEBINAR: Gender Data: Why and How to Use Gender Statistics to Propel Your Advocacy

Achieving progress for girls and women depends on accurate, disaggregated data to inform evidence-based policy and decision-making, and hold governments accountable for leaving no one behind. However, collecting, identifying, and using gender data for advocacy can be challenging. Too often, gender data do not exist— and when data do, aren't widely circulated or applied to policy-making.

This webinar will equip advocates with the knowledge, skills, and tools to use gender data to drive progress for girls and women. Advocates and gender equality stakeholder will highlight the need and importance of gender statistics, discuss how to find, collect, and effectively leverage gender data in advocacy, and share learnings from successful, data-driven campaigns.
