The course aims to provide studen ts with a comprehensive understanding of how gender affects developmen t outcomes and how development policies and programs can promote gende r equality and empowerment. The course will explore the key concepts a nd theories related to gender and development, such as the social cons truction of gender, intersectionality, and feminist development.\nThe course will also examine the United Nations Sustainable Development Go als (SDGs) and the role of gender mainstreaming in achieving these goa ls. The course is also suitable for professionals working in development-related fiel ds, including policymakers, government officials, non-governmental org anizations, and United Nations agencies, who seek to enhance their kno wledge and skills in gender and development and promote gender equalit y and empowerment in their work.\n Entry Requirement: Students must ha ve a current e-mail account, regular access to and general familiarity with the internet and mobile phones.\n Award of the Certificates: Su ccessful students will receive the GHRLTI Certificate of Completion in Gender and Development (GD).\nCourse Fee: The course tuition fee is U S$300.
