 oduction to predictionmodeling using EvalC3 (a free Excel application)
 . Prediction/predictivemodeling is the process of creating, testing an
 d validating a model (i.e. aset of attributes) whose presence and/or a
 bsence best predicts the presenceof an outcome of interest. For exampl
 e, attributes of a training event thatbest predict overall trainee sat
 isfaction. Using EvalC3 it can be done withsmall and simple data sets 
 (e.g. 30 cases with 10 binary attributes), andit can be done with read
 ily available and easy to use software, no codingskills are needed. Th
 e workshop' participants will:1. Gain knowledge abouthow and when to u
 se all the functions available within EvalC3; 2. Developplans to colle
 ct and analyse data in their own field of work, using EvalC3or related
