SUMMARY:Transformative Partnerships for Feminist Research
DESCRIPTION:\r\nThis Gender Café draws on the experience of various s
 takeholders engaged in a feminist research project on women’s leader
 ship pathways in Asia and the Pacific. The research was carried out be
 tween 2017 and 2020 within the Research, Evidence, and Learning Framew
 ork of the International Women’s Development Agency (IWDA) WAVE – 
 Women’s Action for Voice and Empowerment program. Through the Womenâ
 €™s Leadership Pathways (WLP) research project, novice researchers in 
 local NGOs and grassroots organizations that were WAVE partners in fiv
 e countries carried out research with technical assistance from two co
 nsultants whose role was to facilitate the research process and provid
 e capacity-building support.  Through this Gender Café, the two consu
 ltants and one or more of the civil society research partners would li
 ke to share some of their reflections and hear from others who have ex
 perience with similar research partnerships. We hope this will lead to
  discussion of shared learning and, potentially, guidance that may be 
 useful for the development of future collaborative, feminist research
