SUMMARY:UN Trust Fund Virtual Webinar: What can we learn from EVAW eva
 luations?
DESCRIPTION:The UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women (UN Trust 
 Fund) aims to harvest, analyze and disseminate lessons from the projec
 ts it funds in order to build a stronger knowledge base for scaling up
  global efforts to eliminate violence against women and girls. This Vi
 rtual Brownbag Event forms part of continuous UN Trust Fund efforts to
  share—with partners, EVAW/G practitioners and donors—new evaluati
 on learning, as well as the diversity of content and practice-based kn
 owledge from the civil society organizations it funds.\n \nThe event 
 aims to bring together UN Women Colleagues, Civil Society Organization
 s and Partners to engage with the learning from the recently complete
 d independent, external, meta-analysis of EVAW/G evaluations of 30 pro
 jects managed by UN Trust Fund grantees in 26 countries[i] between 201
 5 and 2019. This 90-minute webinar presentation has three main objecti
 ves:\n \n\nTo share the findings of the meta-analysis of 30 external 
 evaluations of EVAW/G projects supported by the UN Trust Fund in 26 co
 untries globally, focused on what  we are learning about the characte
 ristics that determine the effectiveness, sustainability and impact of
  EVAW/G projects;\nTo engage with the practice-based knowledge from th
 e projects, which constitute a valuable resource both for those intere
 sted in advancing knowledge in the field of EVAW/G and for practitione
 rs to learn from each other; and\nTo offer a contribution to the EVAW/
 G evidence base with learning from interventions implemented by civil 
 society organizations, especially women’s organizations, at the fron
 tlines of EVAW response and prevention.\n\n \nYou are all invited to
