 lence about domestic violence during the lockdown and we would like t
 o invite you to attend it.\r\n\r\nAs you know, the COVID19 pandemic ha
 s forced people into their homes over the last few months. In this sit
 uation, many women and girls in vulnerable positions end up staying w
 ith abusive families. This has led to an increase in violence against 
 women and domestic violence reports - the National Commission for Wome
 n has recorded a more than twofold rise in gender-based violence. The
  number of domestic violence cases shot up from 30 to 69 in the month 
 of March alone.\r\nWe will have speakers from organisations working on
  domestic violence in various part of the country such as  Jagori, C
 oro, Swayam, Northeast network, My choices Foundation and Devyani Kack
 er (Legal expert) who will be talking about this issue and taking ques
