 audet University\n \nWe are delighted to announce a WEBINAR on Enabli
 ng Gender Responsive and Equity Focused evaluation (EFGR), as part of 
 the EvalPartners initiative. This is the second WEBINAR organised by t
 he Task Force with particular responsibility for promoting EFGR evalua
 tion.\n \nThe WEBINAR theme\nDonna Mertens will address enabling fact
 ors that are relevant to sustaining and encouraging a gender responsiv
 e/equity focused orientation for evaluative practice, with specific at
 tention given to the issues of stakeholders’ involvement. Evaluators
  can play a role in advocating for gender responsive and equity focuse
 d evaluation by persuasively engaging with a full range of stakeholder
 s, from those who represent marginalized groups to those who represent
  national evaluation systems and donors. A framework for addressing th
 e cultural and linguistic complexities will be used to illustrate succ
 essful strategies and encourage participant’s application of these p
 ractices. \n \nThe presentation will be followed by a discussion whe
 re online participants will have the opportunity to raise questions an
 d make their interventions via online chat facility.\n \nDonna M. Mer
 tens, PhD\nDonna is a professor in the Department of Education at Gall
 audet University and serves as the editor for the Journal for Mixed Me
 thods Research. She conducts and consults on gender responsive and equ
 ity focused evaluations in many countries, including Kazakhstan, India
 , Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand, Botswana, South Africa, Brazil, a
 nd Egypt. The primary focus of her work is transformative mixed-method
 s inquiry in diverse communities that prioritizes ethical implications
  of evaluation, in pursuit of social justice. Her recent books include
  Program Evaluation Theory to Practice: A Comprehensive Guide and Tran
