 onal Reviews are one of the key mechanisms to track the implementation
  progress of the commitments enshrined in the United Nations 2030 Agen
 da for Sustainable Development.\r\nPresented annually at the UN High-L
 evel Political Forum (HLPF), they aim to promote accountability to cit
 izens, support effective international cooperation, and foster exchang
 e of best practices and mutual learning.\r\nWhy attend this webinar?\r
 \n2019 marks the end of the first 4-year cycle of reviews of the SDGs,
  so it is an important year to assess overall progress and consider po
 tential improvements to the process.\r\nThis online launch will share 
 the main findings of a study commissioned by civil society, analysing 
 the VNRs and a sample of civil society reports produced in 2018for the
  HLPF. The assessment identifies best practices and provides recommend
 ations for improving implementation and the VNR process and reports, a
 s well as strengthening accountability around the implementation of th
 e 2030 Agenda.\r\nThe event will be held in English only, but summarie
