Hi everyone,

I thought you might be interested in our latest Building Resilience and Adaptation to Climate Extremes and Disasters (BRACED) evaluation reports:

The synthesis report outlines key evidence and findings in response to the central BRACED question (How are projects building resilience to climate extremes and disasters?) and consolidates Implementing Partners’ year 1 project annual reports at the programme level.

Women’s economic empowerment stands out as a key objective of most capacity-building efforts in BRACED. The evaluation found that the participation of vulnerable groups in BRACED activities has increased, but this is only the first step towards inclusive decision-making.

The reflections paper shares insights, reflections and lessons learnt from designing, implementing and reporting against the BRACED programme’s Monitoring and Evaluation framework.

I hope you find them interesting!

Best,
