<p>Most Countries would have started experiencing the effects of COVID-19 by March - April 2020. Millions of programme funding is assigned to gender-based violence (GBV) prevention globally. Reports have come out of several countries across continents observing an increase in GBV and child sexual abuse. Are there international, regional and national effects to collect, collate and assess the date and re-assign the funding where needed most or is it business as usual?</p>

<p>CARICOM and Caribbean governments need to consider a public, private partnership to help with addressing GBV, especially during COVID-19.</p>
