<p><i><span>I am final year PhD student at the University of Bath, England. My research topic is: </span></i><span xml:lang="EN-US" lang="EN-US"><span lang="EN-US" xml:lang="EN-US"><i>How does the primary school curriculum, both implicit and explicit, influence the gendered capabilities of female pupils? <p><span xml:lang="EN-US" lang="EN-US"><i><span lang="EN-US" xml:lang="EN-US">I tried applying in general context in Indian Universities as my research area can fit into many broad categories, overarching different aspects in Social Sciences, like, qualitative research methods etc. However, I never heard from any of these Universities. So, I decided to seek help here to find out if any of you is aware of any opportunity or guide me how and where I can apply apart from Indian Universities.</span></i></span></p>

<p>I am currently working at <a href="https://onthinktanks.org/">On Think Tanks</a> ( platform that provides advice and services to think tanks and research centres) and we have partnered with the University of Bath and Universidad del Pacífico to <a href="https://onthinktanks.org/announcements/call-for-papers-for-the-on-think-tanks-working-paper-series/" target="_blank">produce a Working Papers Series</a>. The Series is focused on the study of think tanks and evidence informed policy (see our <a href="https://onthinktanks.org/initiatives/research/on-think-tanks-research-agenda/" target="_blank">research agenda</a> for a more specific description). And I would like to invite all members to submit, maybe you a have a report or study that you would like to publish. Out themes are varied, but all relate to on think tanks and on evidence informed policy world-wide. I am very interested in including gender more in the publications, so if anyone has a paper or even an idea that you would like to turn into a paper please let me know.</p>

<p>It contains several interesting articles on the role of women in the Middle East, covers different countries, and emphasizes the historical, cultural, religious and political contexts in which women work. The publication might be useful to colleagues working in evaluation in the region. I am curious how colleagues from the Middle East respond to the information.</p>
<p>Also, reading these articles underscores for me how challenging it is to incorporate context while staying true to the support of human rights. I always struggle with this, and appreciate support and insight of colleagues.</p>

The paper is commissioned by a Czech INGO called <b>People in Need (PiN)</b>. It is being developed for the purpose of its national campaign on inequalities and disadvantaged groups of population in developing countries. </span></div>
