Prateek favourite photo from the pastoral study. This photo is something which I could relate to. We could point out before going to the field how pastoral woman's work does not find itself within the women and work discourse but it was after understanding the relationship of women with animals, we could understand the nature of "work" which a pastoral woman does.

The World Bank’s South Asia Gender Innovation Lab (SAR GIL) is pleased to announce a call for proposals under its Innovation Fellowship Program for researchers based in South Asia to generate evidence and learning on what works to promote economic opportunities for women and mitigate risk factors in the context of regional integration and trade.  Under this call for proposals, SAR GIL welcomes submissions on topics at the intersection of regional integration, trade, and gender equality. This call is for any researcher based in South Asia (i.e., Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives). The most innovative research projects will be invited to present their findings at a webinar hosted by SAR GIL’s Women’s Economic Empowerment in South Asia (WEESA) Community of PracticeThe proposal submission deadline is Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 5 PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). For more information on the eligibility criteria and how to apply, please visit this website.

ABA ROLI will engage a consultant that will conduct a participatory evaluation. The consultant will compile resources developed under the various WAGE initiatives and collaborate with ABA ROLI’s program partners throughout the engagement.

WAGE Q4 Evaluation Consultant - United States of America | ReliefWeb: The evaluation is commissioned by ABA ROLI’s WAGE Program Team to assess what types of activities[1] were effective or not effective in having some level of impact on the reduction of structural and societal barriers to gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and response, women’s peace and security (WPS), and/or women’s economic empowerment (WEE) in WAGE initiatives. ABA ROLI will engage a consultant who will conduct an outcome harvesting evaluation combined with contribution analysis.
