Seeking evaluation consultant: UN Women Country Portfolio Evaluation in Mozambique

UN Women Mozambique is urgently looking for an experienced international evaluation consultant to undertake the Country Portfolio Evaluation (CPE) of UN Women normative, operational and coordination work in Mozambique during the period 2012-2015. A Country Portfolio Evaluation is a systematic assessment of the contributions made by UN Women to development results with respect to gender equality at the country level. It uses the UN Women Country Strategic Note as the main point of reference.

The CPE in Mozambique has the following objectives:

• Assess the relevance, effectiveness and organizational efficiency of UN Women work
• Enable the UN Women CO to improve its strategic positioning
• Identify and validate lessons learned, good practices and examples of innovation
• Analyze synergies between the three mandates of normative, coordination and operational work
• Provide recommendations for the development of the next UN Women CO Strategic Note
