TheAfrican School of Evaluation (ASE)announces its inaugural edition, offering a transformative opportunity for professionals and emerging leaders across Africa to build critical evaluation expertise tailored to the continent’s unique development challenges.
As Africa experiences an increasing demand for evidence-based decision-making, the shortage of trained evaluators poses a significant barrier to progress. Currently, many professionals in the field acquire skills informally due to limited access to formal training programmes and academic pathways. The ASE initiative directly addresses this capacity gap and aligns with the African Evaluation Association’s (AfrEA) strategic objective of professionalising evaluation practice on the continent.
