To define the stages of gender discrimination and also the role of our seniors or can say elders to evaluate that kind or discrimination. That thing should be evaluated amongst the society. We need to define thinly about gender and views of society on it..
Thanks Ritu for the warm welcome. Sorry for late acknowledgment. Read your post on experiences at Nepal Conclave and workshop by Dr. Robert Chambers... it must have been great. Look forward to more sharing and learning at G&E.Best wishes.
Sorry I haven't seen and experienced anywhere and the "Gender-audit" is only my imagination I feel that there should be something extra ordinary to deal with a very important issue of country.
I feel a forum like this can think further on this issue and If the forum feels, we can develop this idea into a reality. The only idea behind it is, to assess how development works are impacting women and up to what level?
I see in the platform, a slide picture (N°15) on "Assessing gender Equity in the water sector in south Africa". Please, How can I have the document? I will be very grateful if you help me to have this document or the full slide about this case study!! Thanks in advance!
Thanks for such a warm welcome. I look forward to being a part of this initiative and its going to be a great opportunity for me to learn and contribute to such an exciting and burgeoning side of evaluation .
Thanks Rituu for such a personalized and warm welcome! I look forward to be a part of this initiative! Working on Gender can be so challanging and it is a vast & nuanced issue! Hence, such spaces provide much needed energy to boost us!
Thanks Ritu, its a vast & volatile topic and I'm trying to collect my data with as much propriety as possible (sometimes it gets tough not to take sides, but as researcher I try & keep my objectivity in place). I have been invited for a Seminar Course Lecture on Displacement and Exclusion this Thursday, would share my experience, if possible. U tkcr :)
Dear Rituu, nope,I have not facilitated that stuff. our VAW project works with providing SRHR and legal rights session and awareness campaigns to adolescent girl, married and unmarried adult women, married and unmarried males in 3 prime urban slums in 3 arms. We do have M&E for our interventions.
