Event Description
Our theme for 2015 is all about inspiring positive social change. We want this year's conference to be inspirational and action-orientated; it will be an opportunity to listen to women and men working around the world for gender equality, and to share our goals for the future.
This event will bring together individuals and organisations working on women’s rights issues in the UK and abroad. This year, African Initiatives will focus our annual International Women’s Rights Conference on inspirational talks on the future of women’s rights. We have organised a series of workshops covering topics such as: gender violence, FGM and negative body image.
The conference is a fantastic opportunity to find out more about women's rights issues, to meet and network with like-minded people and to share experiences.

AI is going to aim to put all the materials from the conference on their website, such as any power-points or hand-outs. They will also produce a write up for their blog, anything done will be available on the website.
