Gender-Based Violence (GBV) is not just a social issue, it’s a systemic challenge that undermines agricultural value chains.
In rural and isolated areas, GBV threatens women’s safety, limits their economic participation, and weakens food security. When women cannot work safely, entire communities lose resilience, and businesses lose productivity. Climate resilience strategies that overlook gendered risks leave communities exposed and women vulnerable.
Ending GBV is essential for building equitable, sustainable, and climate-resilient agri-food systems; and it’s not only a human rights imperative, but also central to climate adaptation and economic stability.
The good news? Solutions work. Programs like the Women’s Safety Accelerator Fund (WSAF) demonstrate that addressing GBV can enhance productivity and strengthen workforce morale and brand reputation. Safe, inclusive workplaces aren’t just good ethics, they’re smart business.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys geeking out over measurement challenges, causal questions, and the nuances of designing evaluations that answer what works, for whom, and why. Must-haves:

Afin de promouvoir la culture de la paix, la Côte d’Ivoire commémore le 15 Novembre de chaque année, la Journée Nationale de la Paix (JNPaix), conformément au décret n°96-205 du 7 mars 1996.
Il s’agit pour le Gouvernement de sensibiliser les différentes couches sociales en vue de consolider la paix, en assurant, à tous et par tous, un environnement qui garantit la sécurité des biens et des personnes en Côte d’Ivoire.
C’est dans ce cadre que l’Initiative Ivoirienne pour l’Evaluation (2IEval) organise un Panel de Haut Niveau (PHN) sur le thème : « Evaluation, Paix et Développement ».
L’objectif du Panel de Haut Niveau (PHN) est de renforcer les capacités techniques des acteurs de l’évaluation du développement et mobiliser l'engagement de haut niveau des décideurs en vue d’un meilleur investissement dans l’évaluation pour la promotion et la consolidation de la paix.
Le Panel de Haut Niveau (PHN) contribuera à combler le déficit de financement des évaluations et recommandera des moyens d'assurer un engagement soutenu à tous les niveaux, en tirant parti des efforts mondiaux et continentaux en cours pour accélérer la réalisation des cibles liées à l'ODD 16 et à l’aspiration 4 de l’Agenda 2063 de l’Union Africaine pour une Afrique vivant dans la paix et dans la sécurité.
