August 31st is celebrated by #nomadic and #denotified tribes as #IndependenceDay as it was the day the #CriminalTribesAct of 1871 was denotified in 1952. Join us as we #ChangtheNarrative of a highly stigmatised community, celebrating their #heritage along with National Alliance Group for Denotified and Nomadic Tribes. It will be an afternoon of discussions and performances, including a puppet show, a play and discussions on the impact of the #HabitualOffendersAct.
