Event Description

In response to the Covid-19 induced lockdown, Institute for Social Studies Trust (ISST) undertook a series of Rapid Assessment Studies (with partner organizations) to understand the 'Impact of Covid 19 national lock down' on women in informal economy working in five vulnerable sectors in Delhi: domestic work, street vending, home-based work, waste picking, and construction work. This series of studies attempted to understand the immediate repercussions of the lock down and on the lives of informal women workers in the said sectors. Please find the studies for your kind perusal in the following link: http://www.isstindia.org/publications/
To continue the conversation on this and help build a robust respond for the same, in terms of further research and advocacy, ISST has decided to organize a Webinar on 5 June 2020 (Friday): 4-6 pm.
