Call for Applications: The Rise Scholarships

The Rise Scholarships is dedicated to creating equal opportunities for women with disabilities pursuing higher education. Aligned with Rising Flame's mission, this scholarship empowers women with disabilities by providing the resources to reduce economic barriers and create inclusive learning environments.

We are selecting 15 women with disabilities for this transformative programme. Each successful applicant will receive a financial award of ₹1.2 Lakhs, which can be used for:

💡 Tuition fees
📚 Accessible study materials
🏠 Accessible accommodation
🖥️ Assistive devices and technology (e.g., scanners, wheelchairs, Braille devices, etc) or interpreter support/ other reasonable accommodation.

This support ensures full participation in both academic and extracurricular activities.

Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Women with disabilities pursuing professional degrees (MBBS, LLB) or postgraduate degrees (MD, M.Tech, MBA, M.A., M.Phil, LLM, M.Sc., Ph.D., or equivalent)
✔️ Applicants must be enrolled in a registered institution
✔️ Applicants must be studying in an institute located in any of the following locations: Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kochi, Hyderabad, or Kolkata
✔️ Applicants should be passionate about achieving their educational and career goals
