F Njahîra Wangarî - Book Chapter

Abstract
"This chapter blends African oral and written narratives, lived experiences with a genetic chronic disability and a Roman Catholic upbringing. These will be interrogated to illustrate the role of alternative explanations in influencing advocacy and activism for the lives, wellbeing, dignity and inclusion of persons with disabilities. Particularly, this chapter is an exploration of self-identity and how persons with disabilities are conditioned to view ourselves in specific ways while highlighting alternative perceptions available is presented by the author. It engages the works of several African and African-descendent authors who feature persons with disabilities as characters in their books and relies on narrative prosthesis as the basis for this engagement."

Parliamentarians Forum new website online - Invitation to join webdialogue

Dear All,
It's a pleasure to launch the new website of Parliamentarians Forum for Development Evaluation http://www.pfde.net/ The website was supported by EvalPartners and developed in collaboration with Pakistan Evaluation Network (PEN). The site includes newly developed resources and publications regarding National Evaluation Policy process  (Mapping status of NEPs conducted by Barbara Rosenstein, documentation of selected national evaluation policies by Katerina Stolyarenko, Ten reasons documents). Katerina is documenting six country NEPs and three are already finalized and online http://www.pfde.net/index.php/publications-resources/2014-02-28-19-.... Other three will be online very soon. Katerina will also start a webdialogue on NEPs very soon. Please sign up for the FORUM discussions so that you can also be part of this important dialogue.
