EVALSDGs Insight #10 concerns a longstanding issue: gender inequality and the degree to which the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) can assure equality and equity among peoples. Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs) of SDGs implementation in 66 countries indicate that countries must act vigorously to achieve gender equity across all SDGs.

I was privileged to be in a panel with Donna Mertens, Doug Reeler, Yves Altazin and Claudine Morierat at F3 E conference held on 16th and 17th October in Paris. For last 25 years, F3E has been coordinating a network of 85 organisations – French NGOs and public authorities. It is my pleasure. I will do my best to share other information on gender and evaluation as I come across tools. My current focus is on ensuring that gender and social inclusion is considered as part of an evaluation of a UK Infrastructure project in the Caribbean. I would be interested ot learn more about how the social inclusion is being assessed as there is increasing focus on social inclusion.
