F Njahîra Wangarî - Book Chapter

Abstract
"This chapter blends African oral and written narratives, lived experiences with a genetic chronic disability and a Roman Catholic upbringing. These will be interrogated to illustrate the role of alternative explanations in influencing advocacy and activism for the lives, wellbeing, dignity and inclusion of persons with disabilities. Particularly, this chapter is an exploration of self-identity and how persons with disabilities are conditioned to view ourselves in specific ways while highlighting alternative perceptions available is presented by the author. It engages the works of several African and African-descendent authors who feature persons with disabilities as characters in their books and relies on narrative prosthesis as the basis for this engagement."

Запуск EvalGender+, глобального движения за равенство и социальную справедливость

Evalpartners через EvalGender + http://www.mymande.org/evalgender  стремятся объединить тех, кто заинтересован в проведении оценки, учитывающей гендерную проблематику и равенство. Документ-концепция прилагаются.

EvalGender + будет запущен в парламенте Непала 25 ноября 2015. За день до этого, 24 ноября, мы проводим широкомасштабную встречу с целью стратегического планирования. Если вы не можете посетить это мероприятие, но хотели бы участвовать в EvalGender +, нам нужен ваш вклад в рассмотрение следующих вопросов:

1. Что было бы окончательным и идеальным воплощением EvalGender +? Каково ваше видение EvalGender +? Каким вы видите это сообщество в 2025 году?

2. Кто будет участвовать в этом партнерстве?

3. Какие мероприятия будут проводиться до 2025 года?

4. Как и кем будет регулироваться Evalgender +?

Пожалуйста, присылайте ваши ответы в виде текстового сообщения, видео или схем до 18 ноября. Я суммирую ваши ответы и поделюсь ими на встрече в Катманду, они также будут включены в концепцию EvalGender +. Я обещаю поделиться с вами общим видением.
