Interested in participatory approaches to development? Praxis Institute for Participatory Practices is organising TheWorkshop2019 - the 22nd International Commune on Participatory Development, in Jaipur, Rajasthan, from 14th - 19th October 2019. Do sign in before July 15 to avail of the Early Bird Deadline!

The six-day commune includes sessions on thematic areas as well as field exposure to help participants be exposed to and experience participatory methods. This is in addition to discussions, evening talks and more. Please find below the details.

The modules* on offer this year include:

1. Participatory Methods & Approaches,

2. Participatory Monitoring & Evaluation,

3. Participatory Action Research and

4. Community Based Due-diligence of Businesses

*the two most subscribed modules will be run

While the first module is a more introductory one that focuses on basics, for the others, it may be good to have participants who have been exposed to participatory methods.
