Join Dr Lori Heise (LSHTM) and Dr Emma Fulu (the Equality Institute) to explore key issues and debates raised in their forthcoming GSDRC reading packs on social norms and violence against women and girls (VAWG) including:

  • What is the evidence and where are the gaps?
  • How can an understanding of social norms support programme and policy work on different social issues?
  • Which strategies are more effective than others in promoting change in social norms and behaviour?
  • What are the major challenges in addressing VAWG?
  • How can VAWG interventions be scaled up?
