I am a Gender expert with focus on Gender based Violence (GBV) and Conflict Management with more than 10 years of experience in humanitarian response. I have worked in Sudan, South Sudan, Uganda, Liberia, India, USA, and Bangladesh where I have managed large teams (16expats and 350 national staff) and budgets (€500m p.a.). I hold Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict studies, and Master’s in International Relations. I specialising in conflict-related sexual violence research, designing and implementing programs in GBV, Protection, Peacebuilding and Conflict Transformation, Women’s Empowerment, Mental Health and Governance, I am a member of GBV AoR Help Desk. In the past, I have coordinated Violence against Women programs for GIZ in Sudan and South Sudan and numerous other gender programs for Regional organizations

People and budget management; coordination and networking, training and facilitation; programme development and management; research and baseline survey, gender sensitive programming; monitoring and evaluation; conflict management; critical thinking and decision-making; accountability, client orientation, continuous learning, communication (listening and communicating clearly) ,creativity and initiative, leadership and negotiation , performance management, planning and organizing, professionalism, teamwork, technological awareness, resource mobilization, Knowledge of foundational concepts in relation to GBV, protection and protection mainstreaming
