Dear All,
This is to share the announcement and the flyer of the APEA conference to be held in Manila from 25 Feb- 1 Mar 2019. In the frame of the conference, a special event, to be hosted by the Congress of The Philippines is being jointly organized by the GPFE, APEA and UNICEF. This especial event, aimed at highlighting legislatures’ commitments towards evaluation in the context of the Agenda 2030, will be held as a follow up to EvalColombo2018. This event has been scheduled for 26th February 2019. One of the highlights of the event will be the announcement by the Speaker of the Congress of the National Evaluation Bill of Philippines.
UNICEF is also organizing a workshop to be held on 25 Feb at the Marco Polo hotel on
evidence based VNRs. The title of the workshop is “Towards Evidence Based Voluntary National Reviews: Strengthening National Evaluation Capacities in Asia”. This is the first workshop in the Asia Pacific region and Government officials who are responsible for VNRs/SDGs, parliamentarians, VOPE leaders and representatives of development partners can join the workshop.
Hope to see you all in Manila
Asela
