My AEA 2019 Favorite Takeaways:

-When we ask people to change their behavior, we often don't recognize the incredible loss we are asking them under take (top left: plenary on Leadership for Evaluators - sadly no name given)

-Learning happens in interaction (top right: Building the Capacity to Learn Workshop with Ben Liadsky, Andrew Taylor, Tanya Beer, and Julia Coffman)

-Paradigm shifts require both Theory and Practice (bottom left: plenary on Prioritizing What Matters with Glenda Eoyang)

-Evaluators need to understand the Affective Values of our clients to understand how the programs work (bottom right: Paul F. Lazarfeld Award Winner Nick Lee Smith, Theories of Evaluation TIG session!)
