F Njahîra Wangarî - Book Chapter

Abstract
"This chapter blends African oral and written narratives, lived experiences with a genetic chronic disability and a Roman Catholic upbringing. These will be interrogated to illustrate the role of alternative explanations in influencing advocacy and activism for the lives, wellbeing, dignity and inclusion of persons with disabilities. Particularly, this chapter is an exploration of self-identity and how persons with disabilities are conditioned to view ourselves in specific ways while highlighting alternative perceptions available is presented by the author. It engages the works of several African and African-descendent authors who feature persons with disabilities as characters in their books and relies on narrative prosthesis as the basis for this engagement."

VfI isn't another method - it's a system to help you provide better VfM assessments using existing methods and tools. It's open source. It's taught and used globally to make sense of complex, hard-to-measure policies and programs. And we're just getting started. Join us in disrupting VfM assessment!
VfI combines insights from evaluation and economics. It uses evaluative reasoning (with rubrics), mixed methods (quant and qual), and participatory, power-sharing processes to provide comprehensive VfM assessments.
