This synthesis draws on evidence from 17 humanitarian evaluations across diverse crisis settings. It identifies key feminist evaluation innovations across four domains - design, methods, analysis, and ethics - illustrating how feminist principles can be embedded throughout the evaluation process. It also surfaces broader shifts required at policy, institutional, and practice levels to realise the transformative potential of feminist approaches in humanitarian contexts.

The toolkit translates these insights into applied guidance for evaluators and organisations. It provides step-by-step support across the full evaluation cycle, including planning, design, methods, analysis, ethics, and dissemination. Drawing on global feminist evaluation practice, humanitarian guidance, and gender evaluation standards, it includes adaptable tools, participatory and arts-based methods, guiding questions, and templates for field application.

Our Research Report centres the lived experiences, generational knowledge, and resilience strategies of small and marginal women farmers from the coastal (Bhavnagar) and hilly (Dahod & Panchmahal) regions i.e two contrasting agro-climatic zones of Gujarat. Through their voices, the study reveals exactly how climate change intersects with gender, land rights, labour burdens, and food security.

Re-inicio del Curso Introductorio de Evaluación para América Latina y el Caribe – #Eval

EvalPartners, el movimiento global para el fortalecimiento de las capacidades en evaluación, y  ReLAC, la Red de Seguimiento, Evaluación y Sistematización en Amér..., tienen el gusto de anunciar el re-inicio del curso “Introducción a la evaluación para América Latina y el Caribe”, curso que se desarrollará dentro del programa de cursos online en la plataforma My M&E.

El curso se iniciará el día lunes 26 de Enero y terminará el día 15 de Mayo de 2015.

El curso está dirigido a todas las personas interesadas en tener una introducción comprensiva a los principales temas de la evaluación de programas y proyectos de desarrollo.

Lo que se busca es contribuir al desarrollo de capacidades de evaluación y a la generación de una cultura de evaluación, teniendo como ejes centrales propiciar procesos de desarrollo equitativos que apunten a la superación de las condiciones de pobreza, contribuir al fortalecimiento de la ciudadanía y democracia, equidad de género, y respeto a las identidades sociales y culturales.

El curso, ofrecido en forma gratuita, comprende 12 unidades de estudio, a las que se puede acceder  “online” en la plataforma My M&E. Cada unidad incluye una exposición acompañada de una presentación PPT, materiales de lectura online, y un test compuesto de 10 preguntas. Las 12 unidades estarán disponibles desde el inicio del curso a fin de que cada quien pueda tomarlo de acuerdo a su ritmo y disponibilidad de tiempo. Los participantes podrán acceder a una comunidad de práctica en el sitio web de la ReLAC para compartir sus reflexiones y experiencias en torno a los temas tratados.

Las exposiciones están a cargo de expertos evaluadores que conforman el grupo académico de la ReLAC, ubicados en diferentes países de la región.

Al final del curso los participantes podrán imprimir su  certificado de cumplimiento del curso, con el requerimiento previo de haber respondido satisfactoriamente el 80% de las preguntas en los test de todas las unidades.
