Gender-Based Violence (GBV) is not just a social issue, it’s a systemic challenge that undermines agricultural value chains.
In rural and isolated areas, GBV threatens women’s safety, limits their economic participation, and weakens food security. When women cannot work safely, entire communities lose resilience, and businesses lose productivity. Climate resilience strategies that overlook gendered risks leave communities exposed and women vulnerable.
Ending GBV is essential for building equitable, sustainable, and climate-resilient agri-food systems; and it’s not only a human rights imperative, but also central to climate adaptation and economic stability.
The good news? Solutions work. Programs like the Women’s Safety Accelerator Fund (WSAF) demonstrate that addressing GBV can enhance productivity and strengthen workforce morale and brand reputation. Safe, inclusive workplaces aren’t just good ethics, they’re smart business.

On the occasion of its 25th anniversary, F3E would like to reflect the progress that has been made in evaluating international cooperation and solidarity actions since its creation, trying to understand the current challenges of evaluation and to foresee the most innovative approaches and perspectives for the years to come.
During these two days, you will have the opportunity to discover how research studies, evaluations and, more broadly, approaches that question your action can be powerful tools to transform individuals and organizations, to renew their strategic vision and to improve the management of their actions.
Throughout these meetings, you will be accompanied by members and partners of F3E network, consultants involved in the network, but also specialists and practitioners from all over the world who are experimenting the most innovative methodological approaches in the service of social change.
As a reminder, F3E is a French network organization working with NGOs and local and regional authorities involved in international solidarity and cooperation. It aims to strengthen the quality and the impact of their interventions by supporting them on project management, monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) practices.
NB: Most of the event will be held in French only. Translation service available only during the plenary panel discussions.
