This exploratory study foregrounds the largely invisible issue of natal family violence (NFV) in India, exploring its forms, prevalence, and deep, long-term impacts on women's lives. It challenges the myth of the natal home as a safe space and centres survivor voices and lived experiences. The findings expose systemic silences and institutional barriers to justice. It offers vital insights for policy reform, feminist praxis, and deeper societal reflection.

Event Description
We are happy to announce that the application process for the third iteration of the online course is now live for applications! This time around the course has been designed for middle - senior level development professionals, including evaluators and researchers, and others who are interested in learning how to conduct gender transformative evaluations. The online course has been developed by a panel of eminent course conveners who have long experience of working around issues of gender and evaluation globally. The course has been designed such that participants will have a chance to interact and learn from them at various points through the entirety of the course.
There are limited seats for this online course and a thorough review process will be undertaken to select the participants. Please send in the filled application form along with the above mentioned documents by 15 July 2019 and the selected participants will be intimated of their selection by 23 July 2019. Please be mindful that this online course is open to only Indian citizens living in India. For further queries, please write to elearngendereval@gmail.com.
