Event Description

Capacity Development- Where is it Heading? Practical Insights for Improving Global Health Outcomes

Capacity development is rapidly evolving, both in concept (including increased emphasis on meaningful in-country partnerships and sustainability) and in practice (as demonstrated by measurable change). What are the practical implications, given the often intangible, cross-cutting nature of capacity development as a global health approach? The challenge of keeping capacity development grounded and practical is magnified when applied to other high-concept areas of global health, like policy, advocacy and governance.

This webinar will break these overarching ideas down into practical insights for improving global health outcomes. Specific expectations for implementers, donors, in-country partners, and other stakeholders will be differentiated.
