I’m excited to announce the launch of our Gender & Health Summer Institute!  Please see below for details. There is a specific course on gender and M&E that many of you might be interested in.

Registration is now open for our Gender & Health Summer Institute courses at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health!

Offering online, short, and focused courses taught by global experts, the Gender and Health Summer Institute is focused on building and refreshing applied skills in gender and health equity.  

These courses are designed for both JHU and non-JHU students and professionals seeking to integrate a gendered approach in their current thinking or practice, or those who wish to advise on gender within health organizations. The Gender andHealth Summer Institute features an applied educational curriculum to advance research and implementation skills for gender analysis.

Our courses are open for registration now: 

  • Applications to Gender Analysis Within Health Research and Interventions
  • Conducting Gender Situational Analyses for Health Programs
  • Applying a Gender Lens to Advance Implementation Research
  • Public Health Advocacy and Gender: Towards a Gender Transformative Approach
  • Women's Health: Disparities and Equity Implications
  • Essential Skills for Women's Leadership in Global Health
  • Gender-Based Violence Research, Practice and Policy
  • How to Design Gender Transformative Programs
  • Monitoring and Evaluation in Global Health for the Real World: Addressing Gender Inequity for Change That Counts

Build or strengthen your skills in gender equity and strengthen your professional networks while learning from our leading global experts in our flexible online course this summer. Running from June through August, courses are between two and five days long and are held in the mornings (EST), to accommodate various time zones and working hours. 

Courses are available at reduced cost for those not seeking credit. JHU faculty and staff can use their tuition remission benefits.
