It identifies key feminist evaluation innovations across four domains - design, methods, analysis, and ethics - illustrating how feminist principles can be embedded throughout the evaluation process. It also surfaces broader shifts required at policy, institutional, and practice levels to realise the transformative potential of feminist approaches in humanitarian contexts.
The toolkit translates these insights into applied guidance for evaluators and organisations. It provides step-by-step support across the full evaluation cycle, including planning, design, methods, analysis, ethics, and dissemination. Drawing on global feminist evaluation practice, humanitarian guidance, and gender evaluation standards, it includes adaptable tools, participatory and arts-based methods, guiding questions, and templates for field application.

Our Research Report centres the lived experiences, generational knowledge, and resilience strategies of small and marginal women farmers from the coastal (Bhavnagar) and hilly (Dahod & Panchmahal) regions i.e two contrasting agro-climatic zones of Gujarat. Through their voices, the study reveals exactly how climate change intersects with gender, land rights, labour burdens, and food security.

Atelier de formation sur l'évaluation sensible au genre et à l’équité de Seneval
Dans le cadre de sa mission de promotion de la culture et de la pratique de l’évaluation au niveau national et international, l’Association Sénégalaise d’Evaluation (SenEval), à travers son Groupe Thématique Evaluation Genre Egalité et Equité (GTEGEE), et en partenariat avec l’UNIICEF, a organisé un atelier de formation à l’intention des responsables des cellules genre des ministères.
Les cellules genre ont été créées par Décret N° 2017 313 du 15 février 2017, rattachées aux Secrétariats généraux des ministères et mises en place pour devenir des organes ou structures de support chargés de suivre et de coordonner la politique relative à l’équité et à l’égalité entre homme et femme au niveau de chaque département
L’objectif de cet atelier intitulé « les a,b,c, de l’évaluation sensible au genre, à l’égalité et à l’équité » est de contribuer au renforcement des capacités de ces acteurs et de leur offrir une plateforme d’échanges et de partage d’expériences en la matière.
Cet atelier, tenu à Dakar le jeudi 19 juillet a relevé le défi de l’organisation et de la participation. En effet, nous avons noté une représentation de qualité des différents ministères.
Les participants ont apprécié à l’unanimité les présentations de haute facture de nos deux facilitatrices : Mmes Nathalie Manga et Awa Fall Nguer et le professionnalisme du modérateur le Dr Cheikh Moussa Camara qui ont contribué à la réussite de l’événement.
Cette activité, après l’atelier portant sur « la clarification des concepts genre, égalité et équité » qui avait permis d’acquérir une meilleure compréhension de ces concepts de base, s’inscrit dans le plan d’action 2018 du groupe thématique dont la mission est entre autre le renforcement des capacités de acteurs de l’évaluation pour une intégration du genre et de l’équité.
