F Njahîra Wangarî - Book Chapter

Abstract
"This chapter blends African oral and written narratives, lived experiences with a genetic chronic disability and a Roman Catholic upbringing. These will be interrogated to illustrate the role of alternative explanations in influencing advocacy and activism for the lives, wellbeing, dignity and inclusion of persons with disabilities. Particularly, this chapter is an exploration of self-identity and how persons with disabilities are conditioned to view ourselves in specific ways while highlighting alternative perceptions available is presented by the author. It engages the works of several African and African-descendent authors who feature persons with disabilities as characters in their books and relies on narrative prosthesis as the basis for this engagement."

I am happy to enclose the report on Evalfest 2018 organised by Evaluation Community of India (ECOI) 7-9th Feb. 

EvalFest was conceived and organized by Evaluation Community of India (ECOI), an association of professionals set up in October 2015 with the objectives of spreading an evaluation culture inthe country and contributing to evaluation capacity building in pursuit of its motto of “share and
learn”. Visibility, Voice and Value in evaluations were the over-arching principles governing EvalFest.
