This exploratory study foregrounds the largely invisible issue of natal family violence (NFV) in India, exploring its forms, prevalence, and deep, long-term impacts on women's lives. It challenges the myth of the natal home as a safe space and centres survivor voices and lived experiences. The findings expose systemic silences and institutional barriers to justice. It offers vital insights for policy reform, feminist praxis, and deeper societal reflection.

Role Overview

Entretejiendo el Género en la Evaluación para la Transformación
Celebramos este 8 de Marzo, Día Internacional de la Mujer, con el lanzamiento de la Comunidad de Práctica EvalGénero, un espacio hisanohablante plural, democrático e intercultural para compartir, aprender y construir propuestas en torno a la incorporación del enfoque de género como criterio de calidad de las evaluaciones.
Compartimos el sueño de un desarrollo que conlleve un Vivir Bien, con igualdad de género y equidad social, y creemos en la evaluación como herramienta potente para alimentar decisiones y acciones que nos conduzcan de maneras más acertadas y eficientes en esa dirección.
Desde este espacio apuntamos a conectarnos y participar en las discusiones y debates a nivel global referentes a la evaluación, superando la barrera del idioma y haciendo que las voces y miradas hispanohablantes sean tomadas en cuenta y aporten en mayor medida a las perspectivas y propuestas globales.
EvalGénero se enmarca en las actividades para el seguimiento y evaluación de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) de la Agenda 2030, así como otros compromisos internacionales; a su vez buscamos recuperar y poner en práctica los principios y postulados feministas que apuntan a la transformación social.
Apuntamos a construir una comunidad abierta, diversa y esencialmente inclusiva, dirigida a personas hispanohablantes interesadas en promover la incorporación del enfoque de género en las evaluaciones del desarrollo.
