Event Description

Measuring gender equality and women and girls' empowerment is an ongoing learning journey. Feminist MEAL (monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning) is a critical piece of gender transformative programming. Inspired by Global Affairs Canada's soon-to-be-released Gender Empowerment Measurement tool, join us on Thursday, November 17th from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. EST for an interactive virtual symposium to examine tools for measuring gender equality and empowerment, and practical learnings from their application.

During this symposium, you will:

  • Gain a better understanding of these tools and how they can be used in your work
  • Have the opportunity to share your tools and methods used in your gender transformative programs
  • Participate in discussions about the varying experiences, challenges and opportunities faced in the application of these tools and methods

The format of this session will be conversational with time for question and answer. This session includes simultaneous interpretation in English and French. Please note that this session will be recorded.

Hi Karline, did you register for the zoom event? Sorry you missed it. I will share the link of the recording if I receive it. One of the resources shared during the event if this helps https://canwach.ca/learning/technical-guidance-note-on-measuring-womens-empowerment-in-the-global-health-sector/

This offering today seems to be sold out!  I thought it was a zoom session.  How could it be "sold out"?
