Dear Colleagues,
During the International Year of Evaluation 2015, we celebrate achievements in evaluation and prepare for future needs and opportunities in evaluation to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In parallel with national efforts to implement the SDGs, EvalPartners is working towards development of a Global Evaluation Agenda 2016-2020. This agenda is engaging input from government, voluntary organisations for professional evaluation (VOPEs), international development organizations, and individual evaluators worldwide – much work has already been carried out. EvalPartners have supported online and face-to-face discussions, and UNDP have supported governments worldwide to strengthen their evaluation capacity through the 18 commitments jointly crafted by Governments at the 2013 NEC Conference in São Paulo, Brazil. Its follow up event, NEC 2015, is to take place in Bangkok, Thailand this coming October 26-30.
UNDP with EvalPartners invite you to participate in the survey below as part of a final online consultation to identify national evaluation capacity priorities to be included the Global Evaluation Agenda 2016-2020.
Please click on the following link to complete the survey (estimated time required is 4 minutes):https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/8KKYFFZ
This survey is based on summaries of previous consultations to date. See links:
This survey invites further input on emerging consultation results to date, as well as wider feedback from stakeholders and individuals who have not yet contributed to the dialogue.
Please take this opportunity to be part of the efforts to strengthen evaluation by developing a Global Evaluation Agenda, and to develop national evaluation capacities in support of the post-2015 development agenda, the Sustainable Development Goals.
Thank you for taking the time, your contribution is very much appreciated!
Best regards,
