This exploratory study foregrounds the largely invisible issue of natal family violence (NFV) in India, exploring its forms, prevalence, and deep, long-term impacts on women's lives. It challenges the myth of the natal home as a safe space and centres survivor voices and lived experiences. The findings expose systemic silences and institutional barriers to justice. It offers vital insights for policy reform, feminist praxis, and deeper societal reflection.

O que é o EvalGender+? A rede EvalPartners é o Movimento Global para Reforço das Capacidades Nacionais de Avaliação. Durante o ano que passou a EvalPartners teve como objectivo juntar no movimento EvalGender+ todos os interessados em avaliações centradas na igualdade de género. Um elevado número de profissionais a trabalharem em desenvolvimento mostraram o seu empenho e comprometeram-se a salientar as avaliações centradas na igualdade e no género como abordagem coordenada na promoção de um maior desenvolvimento social. O EvalGender+ é um grupo particularmente focado para a igualdade de género e vai ser oficialmente lançado no Parlamento do Nepal no dia 25 de Novembro de 2015 no âmbito da Semana Global de Avaliação.
