F Njahîra Wangarî - Book Chapter

Abstract
"This chapter blends African oral and written narratives, lived experiences with a genetic chronic disability and a Roman Catholic upbringing. These will be interrogated to illustrate the role of alternative explanations in influencing advocacy and activism for the lives, wellbeing, dignity and inclusion of persons with disabilities. Particularly, this chapter is an exploration of self-identity and how persons with disabilities are conditioned to view ourselves in specific ways while highlighting alternative perceptions available is presented by the author. It engages the works of several African and African-descendent authors who feature persons with disabilities as characters in their books and relies on narrative prosthesis as the basis for this engagement."

Social Media Evaluation / Evaluation des réseaux sociaux

Hello from Morocco! (Version francaise ci-dessous!)

I was wondering, has any of you experience with the evaluation of content posted on social media (in particular facebook, youtube)? Have you used any third-party tools you could recommend? I find it difficult to get disaggregated data from the media's own insight pages. Also is there any task force dealing with the use of social media (both as a source of data and as a mean of collecting them)? Has UN Women any guidance on that matter? Thank you!

J'aurais aimé savoir si l'une ou l'un d'entre vous aviez déjà travaillé à l'évaluation des contenus postés sur les réseaux sociaux (en particulier facebook et youtube)? Avez vous utilisé des outils tiers que vous pouvez recommander? J'ai trouvé très difficile de collecter des données désagrégées avec les statistiques des sites (facebook insights etc.). Existe t-il un groupe de travail sur l'utilisation des réseaux sociaux (en tant que source de données et outil de collecte)? Merci!

For this community I use google analytics which I think would be more useful if I was doing more of events. But here i am trying to facilitate online conversation so qualitative evaluation is more useful like number of blogs, number of comments etc
