Meeting to reflect on Evaluations

The Institute of Social Studies Trust (ISST), a non-profit in New Delhi is dedicated to conducting research and action programmes to promote social justice and equity for the under-privileged with a focus on women. Engendering Evaluation Through Policy is one of its key current projects. ISST hosted a meeting on 15th Feb 2013 of a group of development practitiones from Delhi who are interested in M&E. NEERMAN an organisation based in Mumbai facilitated the meeting. NEERMAN is working on an initiative to increase the quality and quantity of evaluations in India. The discussions brought forth the perceptions, barriers, benefits, roles etc. of evaluation in various organizations.
