F Njahîra Wangarî - Book Chapter

Abstract
"This chapter blends African oral and written narratives, lived experiences with a genetic chronic disability and a Roman Catholic upbringing. These will be interrogated to illustrate the role of alternative explanations in influencing advocacy and activism for the lives, wellbeing, dignity and inclusion of persons with disabilities. Particularly, this chapter is an exploration of self-identity and how persons with disabilities are conditioned to view ourselves in specific ways while highlighting alternative perceptions available is presented by the author. It engages the works of several African and African-descendent authors who feature persons with disabilities as characters in their books and relies on narrative prosthesis as the basis for this engagement."

HERRAMIENTA PARA MEDIR EL NIVEL DE PARTICIPACIÓN EN UNA EVALUACIÓN

Estimad@s, 
Junto a las colegas Rosa Parés Canela y Julia Brandiarán tuvimos recientemente la oportunidad de colaborar en la traducción al Español de la Herramienta para Medir el Nivel de Participación en una Evaluación. Esta herramienta fue desarrollada y validada empíricamente por  Pierre-Marc  Daigneault y Steve Jacob a fin de medir el nivel de participación de distintos stakeholders en una evaluación dada. 
La herramienta ya está disponible para su consulta y uso en la página de PerƒEval, laboratorio de investigación de l´Université Laval acerca del desempeño y evaluación de la acción pública. 

Quedan gentilmente invitados a visitarla y utilizarla,

Hi Pablo, thanks to your blog above I was got to know of this article.

Daigneault, P. M., & Jacob, S. (2009). Toward accurate measurement of participation: Rethinking the conceptualization and operationalization of participatory evaluation. American Journal of Evaluation.

I will use it for presentation at AES conference in Darwin for the evaluation I conducted recently with my team- Participatory Evaluation using strength-based approach with gender and equity lens.
