F Njahîra Wangarî - Book Chapter
Abstract
"This chapter blends African oral and written narratives, lived experiences with a genetic chronic disability and a Roman Catholic upbringing. These will be interrogated to illustrate the role of alternative explanations in influencing advocacy and activism for the lives, wellbeing, dignity and inclusion of persons with disabilities. Particularly, this chapter is an exploration of self-identity and how persons with disabilities are conditioned to view ourselves in specific ways while highlighting alternative perceptions available is presented by the author. It engages the works of several African and African-descendent authors who feature persons with disabilities as characters in their books and relies on narrative prosthesis as the basis for this engagement."

Dear Friends,
I am exploring the possibility of doing a meta evaluation on SABLA, Rajiv Gandhi Scheme for Empowerment of Adolescent Girls (RGSEAG) and was looking for evaluations on it. SABLA is a centrally sponsored program of Government of India initiated on April 1, 2011 under Ministry of Women and Child Development that covers adolescent girls 11-18 years.
I would appreciate information on where to access the SABLA evaluation reports. Please do share links to any such reports. I am aware that some of the evaluations may not be in the public domain and would be happy to communicate with organizations willing to share their reports.
Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you,
