The India Gender Report – the first of its kind – is conceived and envisaged in the context of the many gendered rights that are enshrined in the Constitution of India. The endeavour is to examine myriad essential aspects of the gendered economic, extra-economic and non-economic status perceived from the prism of transformative feminist finance in order to demystify the enabler and simultaneously the de-enabler role of the Macro-Patriarchal State. Each of the 26 chapters, which interlink academics, analysis, advocacy and action, indicate four universal processes across all sectors and sub-sectors: the reinforcement of gender de-equalisation; the intensification of patriarchal rigidities; the deepening of economic and extra-economic divides; the increased exclusion of vulnerable and marginalised groups.

LEARNING APPROACHES AS LEVERS TO BETTER INTEGRATE GENDER

Friday, April 9, 2021 at 10 :00 a.m., Paris time

In remote mode

Bilingual workshop : French - English

Questioning the integration of a gender perspective in our projects encourages us to think about the transversal nature of this approach within our structure.

Conversely, questioning gender on an organizational level makes us integrating it into our actions.

See you on April 9, 2021, to discover the crossed testimonies of three different organisations. Their singular experiences articulate an operational approach and an organisational approach to gender mainstreaming :

  • Asmae : carried out a cross-assessment of 3 different education and protection projects, to move towards a better gender integration of gender in programs and at the organizational level
  • Humanité & Inclusion: Experienced developping operational guidelines for its institutional politicy on disability, gender and age.
  • Le Gret : Wanted support in institutionalising gender within its structure, which led to concrete repercussions (gender reference system, e-learning training …)
