To answer Rituu's question; I believe that one reason for our success is that the form in which we present findings from Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA) is quite novel. Also, we put much effort into making the poster visually appealing, working on the layout, the colours, the font form and size. There are a few good guidelines on designing posters on the web, a simple google search will take you to good resources. Btw, Power Point is an easy standard software one can use to design such posters.
