'Gender’ is more than a buzzword in development jargon. This course builds your ability in dealing with inclusiveness and gender issues to ensure that development benefits all. You learn to systematically analyse differences in interest, power and decision making among different social groups; men and women, girls, boys, youth and elderly, able and disable, and how to capitalise on each group's strengths.
What you will gain:
“I knew gender was more than talking about men and women. The training guided me step by step how to be truly inclusive in our projects.”
This is a blended training course
In this course, we offer you a blended learning trajectory, combining online learning and face-to-face training. The first 3 weeks of the course, you learn by distance through the online learning platform. This online part takes 2-3 hours per week. The face-to-face part includes 8 days in Ede, the Netherlands.
