This exploratory study foregrounds the largely invisible issue of natal family violence (NFV) in India, exploring its forms, prevalence, and deep, long-term impacts on women's lives. It challenges the myth of the natal home as a safe space and centres survivor voices and lived experiences. The findings expose systemic silences and institutional barriers to justice. It offers vital insights for policy reform, feminist praxis, and deeper societal reflection.

Travaux du Panel de Haut niveau sur les évaluations des ODD
Bonjour à vous,
Du 15-18 mars 2016, s'est tenu à New York un panel de haut niveau sur l'évaluation des objectifs de développement durable dans une perspective d'équité et de genre.
Les différentes thématiques en prélude à la rencontre de New York ont été examinées en profondeur à travers des plénières et des ateliers:
- Thème 1: La pertinence des «nouvelles métriques» (outils de mesure et indicateurs) pour l'évaluation des objectifs de développement durable dans une perspective axée sur l'équité et sensible au genre.
- Thème 2: l'évaluation et la complexité - Faire face à la complexité croissante du développement et de l'interconnexion des ODD afin de s’assurer que "personne n’est laissée pour compte"
- Thème 3: Vers des systèmes nationaux d'évaluation axée sur l'équité et sensibles à l’égalité du genre - Les partenariats multipartites pour renforcer les capacités nationales d'évaluation
- Thème 4: La demande et l'utilisation des éléments de preuve de l'évaluation axée sur l'équité et sensible à l'égalité du genre et leur intégration au processus de développement équitable
Par ailleurs, 10 pays ont été présélectionnés pour bénéficier d'un appui technique de UN WOMEN. La sélection finale interviendra ce mois d'avril.
Notez également qu'un document technique sur l'évaluation des ODD est en phase de finalisation.
